1. Any tips for mimitar scouts - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
^ This is solid advice above. My recommendation would also include skilling things such as electronics and engineering up to L3 or L4. Even though scout suits are getting a bit more CPU/PG overhead in 1.8, they still will have less than other sui...

2. Good fits for scouts? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Lt Royal: not sure if you know but the lower tier Flaylocks require 0 PG usage so you may be able to squeeze a Faylock onto your suit if you wanted. You can even grab one in the Minmatar loyalty store without needing any SP investment.

3. Good fits for scouts? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I second the above. In terms of survivability, my method of attack is to rely on situational awareness more than speed or armor. I sometimes will run a stamina mod on my drop uplink suits, but for the most part I go for increased survivability by ...

4. Galante Scout And Armor - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Hey Smooth. I definitely second maxxing the core armor and shield skills for the passive HP boosts. I've got my armor and armor repair skills maxxed as well and I pretty much only ever use either the militia (or basic if my fitting is tight) armor...

5. Ten Free Tips on Scout Shotgunning - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Solid advice. The transition to disadvantaged light frame suit, with powerful (but still unreliable) weapon will be much easier for new folks if they take some of this advice to heart. To all that give the scout/shotgun a try, have fun, and rem...

7. Deadend with thoughts (scout build tips requested) - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I also play behind enemy lines hacking points, being a distraction and dropping uplinks. I think that you are on the right track by focusing on getting your scout suit to level 5 for the additional profile dampening and range bonus, which is effe...

9. Bojo Concedes: Part II, What To Do? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Here are my thoughts on your path, Bojo (I am a Gallente stealth scout): Since you have Gallente light frames L3, the natural extension is to go into Gallente scouts, which seems especially appropriate if you want to operate as a stealth saboteur...

10. Mid-Range Sniping - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I second using the TAC AR for mid range work. It has a big buff over the regular AR for damage and a more reasonable range. However, if you enjoy this kind of tactic at the more extreme end with the sniper rifle, I salute you. One thing I'd say is...

12. Is there a point in going Proto Scout? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Pretty much what others have said. For the minja it seems like the worth would be in the passive skills, getting the extra % to profile dampening, but mostly the extra % to nova knife damage. However, using the proto minja scout suit itself (as op...
